Karen Pitre Knight, LPC-I, enjoys working with adults, children and adolescents. Karen focuses on helping people to discover their strengths and areas for personal growth that inspire positive life changes. Her extensive time spent in the schools helps her to navigate peer relationships, family issues, and academic issues with her clients. Using a team approach, Karen will also meet with families for support, guidance and to help foster growth and facilitate communication. Karen is proficient in both English and Spanish.
Karen implements a variety of counseling approaches from art, play & family therapy, CBT, Solution Focused and Strengths Based Counseling. Karen has 15 years of experience in education as both an Elementary and Middle School Educator and School Counselor. She has also worked in the Intake and Therapy Departments with acute patients at Sundance Behavioral Hospital.
