Kelly Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and enjoys working with individuals of all ages, couples and families. She also has extensive experience working with at-risk youth. She served as a law-enforcement officer for 16 years in the Fort Worth area and has specialized training in crisis and mediation skills.
Kelly enjoys counseling couples and specializes in treating individuals and couples who may be struggling with grief, stress, anger management, trauma, negative habits and/or addiction, and risky behaviors. She also offers pre-marital counseling, and will integrate Christian principles into the counseling process if requested by the client.
Kelly ascribes to Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions which foster self-empowerment, education and awareness through empathetic guidance, focusing on personal strengths of the client, identification of faulty behaviors, and replacing unproductive behaviors.
