Telishia “TJ” Johnson, is a Marriage & Family Therapy Intern working under the Supervision of Susan Shephard, LPC-S, LMFT-S. TJ works with teens ages 16 & up, adults, couples, and families and is passionate about working with pre-marital couples, infidelity, PTSD, OCD, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and eating disorders.
TJ focuses on clinically proven techniques to identify triggers for negative thought patterns and root causes of behavioral responses. She suspends judgment and takes a stance of curiosity to collaboratively develop more empowering strategies. TJ has extensive professional and leadership experience inspiring personal growth and change.
After living in Florida for more than 20 years, TJ relocated her family to Texas in 2020. She considers herself a life-long learner and she is an avid reader.
