Chelsea Rumsey is a Licensed Master Social Worker working under the supervision of Sarah Kincheloe, LCSW-S. Chelsea has experience working with individuals across the lifespan including children ages 3 & up, teens, and adults. Chelsea has a special passion for working with young children, behavioral issues, autism, and the LGBTQ+ community.
Chelsea has been a social worker for 15 years, which has provided her with a wide variety of experience. She has enjoyed working as an ABA therapist with children on the autism spectrum, providing support for LGBTQ+ teens, and working with adults and seniors. Chelsea believes in utilizing client-centered evidence-based treatment modalities, such as brief solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and play therapy, to empower clients to find the answers and solutions they are seeking within themselves.
After living in the Austin area for 18 years, Chelsea and her family have relocated to the DFW area. She enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and all things nerdy.
