Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She enjoys working with couples, teens, and adults who are experiencing a variety of life stressors. Samantha uses a client directed and goal-oriented approach when working with clients.
Samantha specializes in counseling teens ages 13 and up and adults with significant anxiety, depression, life transitions, gender issues, LGBTQ+, mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, OCD and more. When working with teens and adults Samantha utilizes components of CBT, DBT and solution focused therapy within her therapeutic style. Samantha provides a non-judgmental client directed approach which allows clients to feel safe and vulnerable. Samantha’s focus is to enable clients to cultivate self-acceptance and compassion. Samantha utilizes a variety of interventions, tools, and skills for her clients to help regulate emotions, manage stress, and cultivate healthy relationships with self and others.
Samantha also specializes in working with couples who are experiencing a variety of stress with communication, infidelity, blending families, attachment issues, conflict resolution, relational needs, and premarital work.
Samantha is family oriented and loves to spend time with her family and dogs playing cards and games. Samantha also enjoys the outdoors and baseball.
