Kristy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Brian Schwartz, LPC-S. She is passionate about helping Adults, Teens, Children Ages 7 & up, and Families.
Kristy has experience working with anxiety, depression, addiction, serious emotional disturbance, and individual and family relationship concerns. She also has a passion for working with young adults and the current challenges they are facing today.
Kristy is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and has experience working with co-occurring mental health and addiction issues. She works with all age groups; and welcomes all beliefs, ethnicities, races, gender, and sexual orientation.
Kristy has additional expertise working with children and teens in learning how to recognize emotions, build positive skills, and practice self-regulation strategies. Kristy uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral approaches, Trauma-Focused care, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients find success and navigate change.
Kristy lives in Ft. Worth with her husband and two sons. Her creative endeavors are adult coloring books and various arts and crafts.
