Tammy Desko is a Licensed Professional Counselor and works with individuals, couples, adolescents and adults coping with mental health issues including depression, anxiety, self-worth, grief, loss, trauma, blended family issues, life transitions and women’s issues. Tammy has over 9 years of experience providing Christian Counseling, Pre-marital Couples Counseling, Marriage, Family and Individual Counseling.
She implements a wide variety of therapies, such as Client Centered, REBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy.
Tammy is dedicated to serving others and her strength is helping others feel comfortable, welcomed and valued. She understands how life can be a roller coaster at times and is honored to assist clients with their personal journey, through tough times – and to find healing.
Since becoming an empty-nester, Tammy has enjoyed spending time with her husband traveling, exercising and also her new German Shepard puppy. She is also an active member of her home church, Gateway. When she has time, Tammy enjoys watching college basketball, especially University of Kentucky.
