Naomi Manivong is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals, children ages 5 & up, adolescents, adults, and families. She enjoys helping others learn to cope with a wide variety issues to help identify and implement long lasting positive changes. Naomi utilizes play and activity therapy when working with young children. She believes in the importance of incorporating parents into treatment and provides life skills training, parent education, resources, and support for the entire family unit.
Having worked with school-age children and their families for many years, Naomi has a strong background with school related issues and behavior. She can also help offer guidance for parents seeking support from schools related to behavior issues, 504 plans and SPED services.
Naomi believes in client-centered, holistic approach to counseling and incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and solution focused therapy. Her experience and training also include therapy for trauma, specifically sexual trauma/PTSD.
Naomi lives in Ft. Worth with her son. In her free time, she loves to go chasing waterfalls.
