Meghan Blake is an LPC-Associate, supervised by Sharon Leal, LPC-S. Meghan holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas and is trained in Play Therapy. She is passionate about working with children ages 3 & up, teens, and adults. Meghan has experience helping those who have experienced childhood trauma or currently struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, life transitions, negative cognitions, and other areas of life.
Meghan believes in a Person-Centered approach and understands that people are constantly growing and developing into an improved sense of self. Meghan sees the client as the expert of their own life and wants to support clients to feel more aligned with themselves. Meghan believes that every person that walks through her door deserves a counseling style that best fits them. She strives to create a safe place for clients to feel comfortable and accepted.
In her free time, Meghan is enjoys being out in nature, playing with her dog, or finding new creative outlets.
